About DJ Daemon

He got his Commodore 64 in 1989 and his first Amiga in 1990. A huge fan of tracker music and have had a long standing dream to create a radio show playing that kind of music. In 2020, that dream came true and in december Amiga Flashback started as a podcast. It was later renamed Flashback, tracks from the past and here we are.
He is also an orga for Swedish demo party Edison and a total retro nerd.

He founded the station in 2005, where is run until 2015. At that time it was just a script that ran a automated playlist that randomly played about 350 songs. In 2020 he created the station in its current form. It went from fully automated to being capable of live broadcasts and also got a podcast and a rerun station as well. DJ Daemon has designed the whole server infrastructure, broadcast processing and API backend. He also provices his voice for the podcast and the live broadcast. Between 2020-2021 he appeared live on the broadcast all workdays through what is known as "voice tracking" (prerecording the speeches in advance). He has been active in the support communities for Thimeo StereoTool and PlayIT Live that both are important part of the station.
