DJ Daemon 00:00.098 Edison Party 2021. It ran during the weekend starting on the 9th of July. And we are going back to hour 3 of the live broadcast we made that Friday. The time is about half past six Swedish time in the evening.

DJ Daemon 01:10.964 I got some good news for you. Yes, really. But first I wanna say this was Shadows and before it, as I said, Tears of Christmas. I spoke with one of the managers here. And first off, we gonna get an interview with one of the guys here. I think it's gonna be Weyland.But we'll see. But I can't really disturb them right now as they are super busy. But they are behind schedule, which is standard for events like this. I can tell you that much. If you listen to the podcasts I made from Demo Park is that's a very consistent theme there, like okay, technical problems, not on time and things. Yeah, but they're working hard here. And also I walked around here and can sayThere isn't like just five people. There's a lot of people outside here eating hamburgers and stuff. So I would say it's about thirty peopons p forty people around, yeah. And I think the maximum limit here is fifty. So not so bad actually.

And Travolta is a Norwegian artist, if I remember correctly. He's most famous for his participation in the state of the art demo with a song condom Corruption, but that's not what we're playing right now.

You see.Track music comes from Soundtracker, a software called the Ultimate Soundtracker, created by Mr. Obarski. It was not much of a success, but it spawned a number of imitations that were far more successful. The latest one is of course Fast Tracker, and the more modern music is done with Impulse Tracker, Fast Tracker, Scream Tracker, as they are better when it comes to the hardware support, and the Foss can do more channels and better.There are instruments basically.

I look around here and I can see a lot of computers, mostly. almost entirely laptops, actually. And I wonder where are the retro computers? I see exactly one Amiga. It's an Amiga 600 and it's mine. But no one else seems to have brought an Atari, an Amiga.Some weird PC contraption from the early nineties or whatever. I'm kinda missing out here.

Okay, spoke with some of the managers here a few minutes ago and it seems like the internet here is down. we have no functioning internet connection connection except the one you're listening to right now. The radio station, because I brought my own connection, is still working, but I don't have capacity to stream video. So that's a bit of a problem.But we're working on on it or maybe they're working on it. So yeah, that's kinda the situation right now. The whole big hall here is totally empty with Weyland and some other guys walking around here in their pirate hats. Yes, it's not a cowboy hat, it's a hat that they have kinda stitched up so they look like this class classic buccaneer hat. I think that's a really nice attention to detail.Well, we are going on with some more Doctor Awesome here. Himalayan Summit High Top. The new revive version even.

DJ Daemon 38:59.052 And that was Himalayan Summit. So I spoke around a little bit here. What's going on really? And it seems like the wireless network here broke down. It's not the connection to the internet, so to speak. But without a functioning wireless, yeah well nothing r really goes on here. And they have so much other stuff to prioritize here, so it'sYeah, well nothing is being done to fix it right now, but definitely they're working on it. And I spoke to one of the managers again and they say like they only have eight people managing this, and it's only like well, no more than fifty people at all in in the whole in the whole barn so to speak. So you can't really expect things to go super smooth, but so far it hasn't been super bad. It's like all the parties as I said earlier are kinda like that.This right now. We are not really used to this streaming due to Corona thing, so there's that I guess.

DJ Daemon 43:30.734 Mac 5. I thought it was time for a ship tune or two. So yeah, I started this way. So what's happening now is that people are getting settled in now. Most people are still running around, not much going on here, really. It's a bit of a no-show, so to speak. But things are coming up here. You can see people are working hard here in the background to get stuff up and running.It's the same slideshow with some kinda raccoon with a screen for face and some information about scene set and yeah, you know, the usual stuff on the demo park is here. And the guy in front of me is still working with his Fast Tracker tune.
