The Edison 2021 Live Broadcast hour 1

DJ Daemon 00:00.11 It is on Demo Party twenty twenty one. It ran during the weekend starting on the ninth of july. Let's go back to that Friday and the live broadcast we made. This is the first hour, and the time is around half past four Swedish time.

DJ Daemon 00:23.554 The Ericade Radio Network. We are now going live from a remote location. yeah, here we are. We're trying this again. It didn't work too well. We had some technical problems here, but we have fixed them, I hope. So here's me, DGD Mom Broadcasting Live. mostly music, but we will of course give you some really nice tunes. So we are going on with Dr. Awesome here and more than Meets the Eye.Please stand by. Later in the evening we will start talking a little bit about what's happening here. But right now, yes to music.

DJ Daemon 03:58.368 Scary and spooky, so to speak, that Doctor Awesome more than meets the eye. Seems like something from a computer game or something. I'm not entirely sure. The album is called Decayed and it's his own. So it's not Amiga, but it's probably something he did during the nineties. We are going on with more of Doctor Awesome here. they are having problems with the projector.Doesn't work very well, but you at least it gives some kinda picture. And the beer wagon, and that's the worst part of it, is delayed until five o'clock today, and maybe we don't get breakfast in the morning. There's a lot of technical things they have to fix here.

Or maybe they're just trying to move some big furniture. I don't know really. So we're gonna play some nice tunes from revision demo party tonight. And we are also going to play nice tunes from Shadow Party and maybe Phone Data so you get some really demo.party feeling here. Anyway, we are going on with a very personal favorite of mine. It's a alternate version of Flimbo's Quest intro theme.

DJ Daemon 18:43.906 I have not gone anywhere. I'm just working here with the technology. We fell out of the net again, but we are back. This is because when I have to upload stuff I don't have bandwidth to actually broadcast. I'm sorry for that. It will become better and better.Stabilise. Mutta we the projektor is working and the timetable is up. I need better glasses, but I think it says 8 o'clock is when big stuff starts happening. That's when we have the competitions now. But I talk more about that later. We are going over to more music that's Dr. Awesome and The Mist.

In a few moments, you're gonna hear one of my favorite Liga modules ever on this station. Okay, so what's going on? Well, more and more people are pouring in and it seems to have stopped tearing down everything. And it's more stable now, I would guess. that's all I can say right now. So yeah.We're going on with some more music, and here's the favorite I spoke about, Clichy Apa Clichy of course, and it is Walkman.

So yeah, what can I say about that? Not too much. Right now everyone is still assembling. I'm gonna see if I can find a beer truck. The delusive beer truck, I might add. Anyway, keep listening because we will be broadcasting the whole evening and we will cover also theBut before that we of course have a lot of music. We're going on with Metropolis, a real favorite of mine by the way.

DJ Daemon 37:25.102 This is the arricade radio network. What's going on right now? Well, they are setting stuff up still. The projector is on and we got about maybe 15 persons here, people here that are setting up stuff. Some people are tracking music and I can see VS Code over here, so someone is programming something. A lot of creativity here.

DJ Daemon 40:46.646 Alright. Good news for everyone here. Curbside is here. That's a food truck. And they are setting it up right now to see if they can get it up and running within about half an hour. And then there will be beer sold here plus food actually so you can eat here. And some people probably expect to stay here for the whole whole thing which is about well three days from now. So I would say the big stuff is happening at six.

DJ Daemon 45:49.846 18 minutes past hour here on the Arricade Radio Network, broadcasting live from Egg Bigord in S well, I almost say Sona, but it isn't Sauna, it's actually Rinkby Tianstar. And in about 40 minutes, as I said, check this time tight table now so I know it's true. They will start everything up here and then they will start live streaming as well, so you will be able to watch it through the cameras. So I guess that'sProbably not a good thing for me to admit, but yeah. I I must not only show here around, but still p stay along and I will come with some sarcastic commentary or so. Anyway. More music. We're going on with a really weird one. It's a song called Teletubbies, and of course, if it's weird, it's Ace Man.

DJ Daemon 49:26.99 Yeah, Aisman is a little bit hmm different. Polish scenery by the way, if you didn't know. So right now they have actually set up the official text. It says welcome to Edison twenty twenty-one. And you can still upload your entries so if you want to compete in the track.music competition or any of the competitions, you need to really hurry up because they will not accept it for that much longer. And of course we're gonna make a podcast of this one as well. But it will not be out tomorrow. We we don't have time for that. It's impossible. But we can definitely do something cool like put it next week and then you will hear the winners and the runner-ups in the competitions. I can see one guy in front of me here is sitting with the same headphones as I do.Making music on what I believe is false tracker. Yep, they're working hard here.

DJ Daemon 54:07.47 That's Ross, live on the street. You'd think a song like with that kind of name would be very, very heavy with some rap and thing. And no, it is not. It's a very very sweet and calm song, I must add. Anyway, this is the first time we're doing this live, so at the time it's not really working when it comes to this text, so you can see which tracks I'm playing. I will fix that.But other than that it seems to be working just fine. I'm a bit rusty here. I haven't actually operated a proper mixing console for like I don't know, fifteen years. I I touched the faders kinda with shaky hands. Anyway, we're going on with music here. Stay stay listening here and t tell you what's up.
