DJ Daemon 02:51.246 They are currently searching for graphics artists and music artists because they have a competition going on here in a few minutes. So well if you know someone, they might actually they have to be physically here, so I I guess it's a bit stupid to go out on the airwaves. So please if you know how to draw some cool stuff and can do it by streaming or something, go to the Discord channel for Edison twenty twenty-one and tell people like Wayland and and tell them that you are available for this because why not? It seems like a cool thing and they they need another graphics artist. So yeah, that's how it is.

I would actually compete in this, but I have a little bit of a problem here. I am totally incompetent when it comes to music.And to drawing and to graphics and to pretty much everything else than broadcasting. So I'll stick to broadcasting. we're going on with Ship Never Dies because we need more ship tunes.

DJ Daemon 15:53.518 Ship never dies. Yeah, I sure hope it does not, because we love ship music and I feel sometimes we really need more of that just to make us happy happy with life and such things. Alright, not much going on here. I had some kind of idea that this would be starting up now, but that seemed to have been some sort of a false start here.And but at least people are working and doing their stuff and kinda sneaking or peeking over the shoulders of people here to see what you're doing. I can see one guy programming, the same guy with a fast tracker still doing that. I really look forward to s how that's gonna sound. It seems awesome just by looking at heh the wishels, so to speak. The French demo party Shadow, Shadow Party 2021. I'm happy to say that Edison is something special. It's the first demo party I attended this year that I, you know, attended.Not just sitting in my sofa but actually I can see the screens here. The lights are powered down so you can't see much but you see a number of screens and every screen has a programming project, a tracker project. The guy here to the right has a boat of some sort that seems to be written with done with 3D graphics and stuff. I mean this is awesome. This is awesome, this is creative like you wouldn't believe.

DJ Daemon 45:16.726 Alright, the whole party is going on here. We just seen some kind of shader ray trace, whatever things with some heavy techno beat here. Really nice. I I like how they show just how good many artists are here. And what's going on now? I don't know. Some iconYeah, I recognize nice that tune, but I can't really say what it is. Yeah, they they actually had this last year. I think there is some trick with manipulating HTML here, but I'm not entirely sure. yeah. Anyway, we are going on with more Doctor Awesome, and this is a bonus track from the Junior City Conspiracy if you remember that old game.

DJ Daemon 50:23.584 So Dr. Awesome is now leaving the airways here. And what we see here is the demo competition. It's not Amiga stuff properly, but it's modern and you just seen the Challenger, the space shuttle being split into pieces and it's beautiful really. I and I is that a Def Star? Are they generating a Death Star now? I don't know. But sWhen I stopped looking at demos, it was in the nineties, and at that time the Amiga and the PC were doing kinda cool stuff. But what you can see today is feels more like modern games that you do weird stuff with than demos themselves. I kinda lost interest in them. But what we see here on screen is pretty beautiful. and it stops with, it's now safe to turn off your computer. Okay, yeah, we haven't seen that in a while. Turn off your computer.

DJ Daemon 54:47.328 That was 8 BM with all my circuits circuits, yeah. I'm gonna say something here. Back in the day when TV had the worst sound you could imagine and radio sounded awful sorry awesome. Then I actually knew that in many kind of competitions and when they had the officialStuff. They recommended you to turn on the radio for the sound and the TV for the video. Yeah, we did this here in Sweden, that's kinda obsolete now. But I kinda get the feeling that some people may actually listening to me right now and watching the stream at the same time. That must feel a bit schizophrenic or something. The demos are going on here and now there is a bowl and something flying around it.I'm not entirely sure if I see the point with modern demons. Yeah, I said so, but they can be exceptionally beautiful. But what I always think gets better year for year is the tracked music. Modern tracked music is awesome to the max. I mean, just listen to this.Yeah. And now listen to this.
