I was going through my old files the other night and I stumbled on my old
Mods folder from way back when, and I started to get all nostalgic. I
decided to check the Mod Archive to remind myself of when I last uploaded
something. Can't be that long, I thought. Turns out, nearly 19 years.
Blimey, I don't know where the time has gone, I really don't.

Anyway, found this one on my hard drive and realised I never uploaded
it here so I thought, why not? I think I might have had an MP3 version
of this up on my (now long dead) website back in 2002/3 that was mixed with
a vocal sample from Nessaja by Scooter for some reason.

I can't remember the sources of the samples, sorry. It was 25 years ago,
and I'm not entirely sure what I had for breakfast this morning or
where I've left my keys. I think the vast majority of them were from
a sample pack a friend sent me around the time.

I absolutely cringe now at the comment text I put in most of my old
uploads. Most of it was either me trying to be funny, or ranting about
how miserable I was. None of that these days, I'm happy and doing well
in life - I have a loving partner and we have a 5 year old daughter
together.

For the last 10 years or so, on and off, I've been releasing music on
streaming and download under the name "Unmet" - there were already one
or two other Alex Smiths out there so I wanted to come up with something
no one else was using so my stuff didn't get muddled up in amongst all
that. I'll always be Alex Smith on here though.

Please do check me out on all the usual streaming and download sites
if you have 5 minutes to spare. I currently have one monthly listener
on one of the platforms, and I'm pretty sure it's my mum. There's some
new stuff and some old stuff remixed on there.

There's a few other unreleased IT bits on my hard drive I'll see about
dusting off and uploading soon.

I used Modplug Tracker to type these notes and trim the mod down a bit
but the rest of it was done in good old Impulse Tracker back in the day.
