Podcast episode profile for 110. Another toplist of our own
It's the third time we let the listeners make the toplist. DJ Daemon sent out a request to various Discord forums and got a few suggestions of great tunes that you don't always hear. And from that comes another toplist by and for the listeners.
ericade.radio knows the chiptune and demoscene! We're the radio station playing all the best tunes from the most prominent, promising or trending artists in the scene. We also know about the artists and songs as well.

Colophon:From an old, long gone web comic called \"A doemain of our own\".This episode became too short due to a bug in the time calculations in PlayIT Live. So I managed to push some more songs on the end to make it fit.

Virgill - Mystified (XM)
DJ Daemon mentions Virgill's cover of his own song, then plays the original. 32s
Virgil, again he strikes with something awesome. It's called Mystified and this is a fast track here in Modul. Now you're gonna hear the same song again, the original, also by Virgil, but this time as an Amiga 4 channel Modul, which is the best.
Virgill - Mystified (Mod)
A big thank you to someone named Nate who suggested both of those songs and for the reason to compare them. I actually can't really say which I like better. I think the Fosstracker is a winner in my book. And we are going on because we have a top list to do.
DJ Daemon thanks to Some1Named1Nate and pics the Fasttracker version of Mysified as his favorite. 34s
Bit Arts of Red Sector Inc. - BA1
DJ Daemon mentions the demo from 1989 this just played song comes from. 23s
How old is this? Yeah, you won't believe it. 1989. It's BA1 by BitArts of Red Sector, Inc., from a demo from that year. Again, it was someone named Nate that suggested it, but we have other people that have good ideas.

Wanderous little ship tune by Braxon, it's called Brainspray and suggestion comes from Discord user number nine
Busy brain of Defeat - Ghost n variation
DJ Daemon speaks talks about the hardest C64 game ever. 23s
If you don't know what game we're talking about here, you may not be as retro as you think you are. It's Busy Brain of Defeat and it's the music from Ghosts and Goblins, the hardest game I ever played on the C64 and I have played Impossible Mission. I'm just saying that.
Kolor - Weide
DJ Daemon makes a silly Beatles-reference. 19s
and wide and this was suggested by number nine time for an obligatory Beatles reference number nine number nine number nine okay so
Malmen - Dragon fruit
DJ Daemon talks about sifting through lots of old request to get to this. 19s
Malmen and Dragon Fruit. I am at a little bit of a loss here as to who requested this song. Yeah, I've been sifting through a lot of old requests, so yeah, there's always that.
Purple Motion - Soul-o-matic
DJ Daemon speaks so good, so you get another one. 17s
Soul-o-matic by the legendary Purple Motion. They are so good, so we're gonna play one more. It's Starshine, a little bit more mellow.
Purple Motion - Starshine
DJ Daemon next up is a song with a bit of a story.. 13s
As I said that was Purple Motion with Starshine and next up is a nice song which has a bit of a story.
SHattY - Angel Mech
DJ Daemon tells you about Shatty's motivation to write this song. 44s
Say this? Okay, it's Chetty with Angel Mick and yes it has a bit of a story, can't read all of it obviously, but he writes in the comments. Yes it's true, this was my first original composition on the 4 channel Pro Tracker. It's been a long time, finally decided to let it rip on more channels.Basically this song focuses around the Contra series, Konami showtor. I loved the game when I was a kid and I thought wouldn't it be cool if there was a really huge mech boss that you had to fight at the end of the level with this music in the background. Yes, it is. Great idea.
