Colophon:(Like last year) The fly-over territories are those that people fly over, but do not land. This is often a term for the midwest part of America.

ericade.radio – Time for Flashback, tracks from the past – with your host DJ Daemon

DJ Daemon Time for flashback! Tracks from the past! With your host, DJ Daemon! The summer is blazingly hot and we are starting this hour up with Joss and Shoresco. It was released less than a week ago, so yes, the mod trackers are still active and at it!

DJ Daemon introduces the show a presents a brand new tune, composed about a week ago by Josss. 21s

Josss – Churrasco

DJ Daemon remembers he has to work next week, but hope for a slow start. 25s

DJ Daemon Well, news for me is that my work will start again on this Monday, but I think it's gonna be cool. Not the weather of course, but there won't be too many people asking too many questions. Well, we are going on with Darkman 007 with sad song.

Darkman007 – Sad Song

DJ Daemon gives you the first medley. 27s

DJ Daemon We need more medleys, less sad songs. So let's do the first medley of the day. It's Ninja, and I assure you, you're gonna hear more from him in this program. It's Neon Lights in Rain, then it's Keb Corp with Sha Tu Szech, and last, Michael Wilsynske with Strange Encounter.

Ninja – Neon lights in rain

Kabcorp – Chat Tout Sec =J

Michal Wilczynski – A strange encounter

DJ Daemon talks about an upcoming episode where he will talk with another old sysop. 41s

DJ Daemon It's about one year since we had the last interview. It was FsFreak and we are going to give you something really cool in a few weeks. It's a sysop that remembers the 90s and how cool the whole scene was. So me and him, we're gonna talk about old memories and remember those things that people may not want us to, really. But that's for another day.Today we are playing the music and Drax is next up with a new one, Burning Bridges.

Drax – Burning bridges

DJ Daemon from Danish to Swedish. 14s

DJ Daemon artistry from Durex and he's Danish. Next up is Joel and Malmen, Swedish with T's or P's.

Joule and Malmen – Tease or please

DJ Daemon the music makes me dream about my Amiga days. 13s

DJ Daemon Nice and sweet and makes me dream about my Amiga days. We're going on with James of Nuance and Chemical Emotion.

James of Nuance – Chemical-Emotion

DJ Daemon: samplerd tunes = ransom notes in music form. 24s

DJ Daemon Do you remember those ransom letter notes? The ones from the Hollywood movies? Yeah? They used to have different letters from different newspapers. And that's kinda how the next song sounds. It's a song called Playing with Death, but it's actually Nighthawk playing with samplers.

Nighthawk – Playing with death

DJ Daemon compares the next song with “Peaceful journey”. 27s

DJ Daemon Nighthawk gets another chance. Next song is by him and it's called Rainbow Runner. He takes some help from Norfair and he's also remixing his own song called Peaceful Journey. You heard it on the station, super popular. Is it better or the same? I leave that to you to decide.

Nighthawk and Norfair – Rainbow Runner

DJ Daemon mentions Edison demo party. 32s

DJ Daemon Next week, this Friday, it will be the 22nd of July, then Edison Demo Party opens its doors here in Stockholm. Will we cover it? Yes, we will. I don't know exactly how and how much, but I promise you there will be a top-list episode. This is standard for all big demo parties. While you're waiting for more information, listen to Lovia and Himalaya.

Lluvia – Himalaya

DJ Daemon talks about DiHalt summer party 2022 and that Edison is on location. 43s

DJ Daemon I'm browsing through the demo parties in DemoParty.net and for July I'm noting that Dehalt, the summer edition, is coming soon, on the 29th of July. Yes, it's a Russian demo party, so maybe controversial for some. And Edison, as I spoke about, let me remind me, it's physical, you can go there, it's in northern Stockholm here in Sweden.and it's opening at 3 o'clock in the Austrian known Swedish time going on with necros and mysticists.

Necros – Mysticism

DJ Daemon plays the second medley – The Ninja medley! 25s

DJ Daemon Time for the second medley of today. It's the Ninja Medley. Because it's three times ninja. The artist that is. First Saddam, then Listerpad, and last is old school Mam-Wii-Kurvj. I'm not making that up. It's the name, you can read it in the liner notes.

Ninja – Saddam

Ninja – Listopad

Ninja – Oldschool mam we krwi

DJ Daemon mentions “Chipwave, chiptune, retro electroc and synthwave”… But it’s all tracked music to me. 32s

DJ Daemon You're tuned to Flashback, tracks from the past, and I'm DJ Daemon. We're playing... what do we call it? We call it tracked music or tracker music. But out on YouTube it's called stuff like retro electro, ship tunes, ship wave or synth wave. Whatever you want to call it, we're playing it and it's awesome. Going on with Radix and a shogun named Paul.

Radix – A shogun named Paul

DJ Daemon talks about Assembly 2022 and thanks you for listening. 32s

DJ Daemon In a few weeks you get Assembly Summer 2022. It's on the 4th to 7th of August. And while you're waiting, let's listen to the Assembly 94 invitation. Yeah, it's from Purple Motion.
