He is known professionally as Vangelis or was known and he passed away a few days ago. In Wikipedia they write, for an artist of his stature, very little is known about Vangelis personal life and he rarely gave interviews to journalists. But he did say some stuff.and he had kinda turned his back on the lifestyle, the decadent lifestyle of his band days. So he chose not to use alcohol or drugs. Exactly where lived his last years is not known, but we know he's no longer with us.
