And it's time for a special flashback tracks from the past. Two or three, depending on my mood, hours of great music, some stories, and we're celebrating Christmas, you and I.Time for another episode of Flashback. Tracks from the past. Jultomten Myser, name of this song, yeah it means that Jultomtan, is Santa, is feeling really cozy. Great! So do I. I have in front of me a glass of something called glögg, that's a hot beverage, that is basically very sweet wine. If you're German you probably know about it as Glywine, but it's not exactly the same thing. Really nice.And there isn't a... There's no alcohol left in it because yeah, you know, you heat it up, the alcohol goes away. Which is good because I don't want to broadcast drunk.

Nice, it's dippy and afternoon-growing here on Flashback, tracks from the past. One year ago, we were called Amiga Flashback. That's probably where you remember Nicole's intro from. If you heard it from the start, that is. Yes, definitely. And from that broadcast, I'm reprising Annie Maximus. Annie Maximus? Annie Christmas? I don't know how to pronounce that, but here it goes.

said Mr. Schwarzenegger and last year I joked about it by saying no Mr. Schwarzenegger I expect you to die. Now I actually don't want anything of that. I'm a pretty peaceful person have never killed anyone and hmm what should I say?Well, we're going on with something really cool. It's from a game, a Worms game that never were released. And if you think about Worms and music, it's always about Björn Lynne or Dr. Awesome, you never heard this one on this station before.

I wonder why this game was not released. I guess there is such a thing as too many Worms games. If you just look at the back catalog of Mr. Awesome or Dr. Awesome, you can see there are like seven or eight Worms games or something like that that he made music for. So I guess there is some kind of saturation limit there. not another of those. I have not reached that limit yet. We're going on with Butch and Winter Night.

So, should we go back to our respective bunkers? I don't really like the idea of that, but you know Omicron is doing another bloody round. It's like... That COVID thing is still here and we're not getting rid of it any day soon. Let's not talk about that. Let's listen to some more nice music. It's all techno-ish and all soft and sweet.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know what you're thinking. That wasn't soft, nor was it sweet, but for being techno, I would say it totally was. It was Spectral DJ with space of presence. And I found something really cool here, a Swedish Christmas tune. It's by Feggol Haas, if you remember him from Gubbdata. He's a part of Kake Monsters Klubben, according to the liner notes. And the song, it's about...Well, jule koks bakning, simply means Christmas cake baking.

This is a bit weird. This song is actually made in Fasttracker, but you would think it's a SID chiptune or something. They're probably not using the sampler that much here. But it's a great song. I really like stuff like that. We are going on with Eljato Protocol and Christmas Card 95, but don't worry, I got some more stories to tell, so it's not just about music here.

Time for some Christmas stories then. I think that's just right to do right now, right here. When I was a kid I had a C64, I told you so before. And I loved Silent Service, a really good submarine simulator. You are a submarine captain in the Pacific, somewhere in the 42nd World War. And I found some red Christmas lights. I...

Sweet and nice. We are going on with Malcolm and a mechanical love song. But here's an advice for you. Sometimes take a look on the tracker music comment fields. That is the tracker instrumentalists and stuff. Yeah. This one has a nice one telling you that the song, mechanical love song, is about love between two robots. I don't really know why.But I guess Bender would approve.

Alright, so that was a love story between two robots. We also have a sexy robot with Alastor Brimble, yeah the song is called that. Really good one. We are going on with Yomaro Kasuga and his insanely beautiful Christmas Sonata.

Yeah, okay. As I said previously, it's a good thing to just check through the instrumentalists sometimes. Some really nice stories they appear. One of my favorite ones is the butterfly with the most atrocious English ever. Next song is a more sad story. It's called Juliet is Tearing. I guess it's more like crying, but English is not.Like you know, the native language of most people doing tracker music, right? So yeah, he writes in the instrumentalist that he is sad about his girlfriend being his ex-girlfriend and hope she comes back.

About an hour ago we spoke about glögg, this glöivine thing that we have here in Sweden. But we have more weird stuff you have never ever tried. A few years ago I know that honey whiskey was the great stuff that everyone wanted and my favorite is actually something called Jack Daniels honey. And it tastes a bit like a Swedish speciality that we call punch.I don't know, don't think you should translate it to punch or something, but it has that sweet, very like, know, dessert taste to it. And it's awesome really, really nice. I know students in universities here in Sweden love that. It's a part of their tradition. I just think it tastes good in small dosages.

Trigger and Julia Roberts. I think Trigger is in love with her or something. I don't know really. She was very beautiful in the 90s, haven't heard so much about her in the 2000s and onwards. Anyway, we are sitting here remembering all Christmas stuff and some weird beverages and traditions here in Sweden. So why not have some more cool stories coming up? But we are going on.some more Christmas, but not exactly when you expect it.

Galgax Christmas in July And I remember my old time Christmas feelings from the times when I was a kid one Christmas I got the brand new George Harrison Record the vinyl record it was back then called cloud nine and one year I got my Amiga 500 it was 1990 and a few years later, I remember sitting in front of the Amigaplaying Civilization. My first memory from that, that wasn't Christmas, it was some year when I got it and I said, this is too hard, I don't understand how this works. And about 10 hours later, it's like, my God, I need to invent the pyramids before they do. You know, that game sucks you in and bleeds you dry. Just one more term is the official motto of the game series. Yeah, so you know, yeah, they trademarked it.

Mr. Gamer, julremixar. In Swedish, jul means Christmas. No surprise there. That's...why you say Jule Tide sometimes. It's a very Germanic word if I remember correctly. Anyway, we are going on with more Christmas tunes, but I gotta have to say that we are running dry air, so I will stop in a few minutes. It will be two hours of broadcast. I hope that's been enough. Well, more Christmas.

Witness and how about this wham thing going on if you remember last Christmas? Yes. Yes, I said that We were all very very worried about should we be able to survive that is to say last Christmas then song by Wham if you hear it on the radio It's game over then you lost the competition.
