🎤 Production Notes
I got an email from Coreus asking me to play some of his favourite tracks on the station and then some he had found on the Internet. It was too good to pass up. I added some more commonly requested track on this station and my own favorites.ColophonThe title is a homage to an old web comic (long gone) called "a doemain of our own".

the Eric Aind radio network. Here's a tune requested by one of our internet users. Okay, is that what we're doing today? yeah, that's that's the plan, obviously. Okay, okay. I almost forgot. DJ Damon has just entered the studio and is ready to tell you like it is.Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the whole plan I'm gonna tell you like it is. And I almost forgot. Sorry. This. Time for another episode of Flashback. Tracks from the past. yes, today it's Sunday. We generally don't broadcast on Sundays, but we have a lot of cooler requests. Most of them are from Correos.
Solaris is great choice for a warm up song. It's of course Format. British artist Format. And Eternity is the name of the song. Going on with Swedish. Ostit skit. That means like cheesy crap. I'm trying to omit some worse words here because you know we have to be family friendly or something. Solaris is the artist.
Sweden we go to Norway and Spaceballs legendary demo group this time it's Winnie of Spaceballs his real name is Paul Granum and the song is called Spasmic Spasmo Sperms and comes from the demo called Spasmo LyricErik Zalitis
Yes, absolutely. It's Jason Page. And the song would have been called First, but I couldn't find it really. It's a pretty bad name of a song to search for. Get a lot of hits from Google, I can tell you that much. So we have to settle for something else. It's called Snow Christmas. Really magic thing. So, yeah, I hope that's enough.
According to my information this tune is from a game that's called Putty Squad. Don't know anything about the game, but we are going on with Cro-Mag and Ulysses.
We are half way through the warm up list. And that was Cro-Mag as I said. His real name is Tim Albers and he is from Germany. From Germany we go to Finland and it's Hyperspace from the demo Star Control. The name of the artist? Rico Notajarvi.
It's possible I got a bit creative there. We're not half way through the warm up list. We are actually... We're past it now. This is the last one before we're ready for the real request list. This is CRD and Chordion Remix.
absolutely love this one. Very good list so far. I must say our listeners have a great taste. But maybe that's because you're staying on the station and enjoying what we're playing generally. Okay. So time to go to the real list. The three songs that Choreos wanted to hear. And first out of those is Elvud with Sweet Dreams. No connection to Eurythmics.
Yes, this is my station, it's my rules. Now Chris wanted to hear Orb and Musiklinjen. And I say we'll comply, but we'll not play the original. This is Orb and the remix.
That's a mix of Swedish and English whatever. Yes eight minutes, supposed to five minutes for the original. lost out from his list that would be Jester of sanity and a magnificent Elysium.
That's the end of that list, but hey, we get half of the program, almost, ready to go. So here are some of my favorites, some of them you know about, but I have some surprises. But none of it right now. This is a pretty obvious one for anyone who knows me. It's Horace Wimp and him to Aurora.
Wonderful isn't that? Plenty. Aurora or Aurora Borealis, something Scandinavians know a lot about. I have never seen it, alas. But we call it Norrgen here in Sweden. All right, what's the French word for Lamers? I think it's Très de la Tante. Anyway, it's Janis Brown.
It's a bit of a serious, maybe a bit epic of a song. Next one, well that's one of the curveballs coming in left field. And I'm gonna stop doing sports metaphors because I don't know anything about sports. But I do know about Muppets. And this is a Commodore 64 tune from a demo you should know.
from a fantastic demo released originally for Fondata 2021 this summer and it featured a train, a subway train with the characters from the Muppet Show painted, spray painted on. Really great. Going on with another one. It's the second coming of the Goblin. Skaven 252 and the Goblin returns. Full of mischief.
And that little... I can't say that. This is a G-rated show. Anyway, he always seems to get away. That little... Okay, okay, I can stop. Need to think about the heart rate. Going on with Oktome and Flimbo's Quest Medley. Magic game! I have never played it, but I love the tunes and it seems to be cool.
out of time I'm afraid but we have some tunes tracks whatever you want to call it left to play and next up that would be if you don't know what's coming here you have not been on this station very long my wolf 2
This is DJ Daemon and I'm leaving the studio.special edition of Flashback, tracks from the past, because I felt like it. Leaving you is... ...farage. And Bones and Guns is a take of Jack Jazz Rabbit, but it's not from the game, just the same feeling and okay he nicked the instruments as well. But I'm not telling.
Going back to the normal station in a few moments. So you can still listen. This podcast will be out for your perusal that's listening. In this case it means listening in a few hours.
