Time for flashback. Tracks from the past. With your host, DJ Daemon. We are back. Well, last week we didn't have a podcast episode out, but we do it now. Sorry for that. Today, no retro gaming reviews or anything. We are just playing the latest music and sometimes you have to go back. We are starting up with the song called Zitteraale.Banana of the Electric Knights. won the 60th place in 1999 in the Symposium demo party.
You know the drill, it's time to do what we always do at this time, at least when we're just broadcasting your favorite music. Yep, it's time for the first medley of today. Starting up with Atomic and Zero823, then it's Cabbage Drop and Horse Tunnel, and then it's Retro104 with Butterscotch Drops the Lemon.
The industry has spoken. And the color that's in with the in-crowd today is blue. That's a nice one, isn't it? All right, me and Kurios have worked really hard to give you the new arcade.radio, the website with a blue color tint, a next up or coming up feature. You can see what next is coming on the station. Also, it's a much more beautiful graphics. We fixed a number of bugs. We have a sun mode where you can reallyProject the whole station onto your big screen TV and enjoy it. It has a number of really good features. So you should go to Ericade.Radio and enjoy the new design. There are some minor bugs to iron out, but we are fixing them and that's how it is. Going on with Atomic and Lennon Kijen 1.
Are we gonna talk about revision again? Yes, in fact we will. Me and Kurios have some new stuff to tell you. On the first of April, we will go to Saarbrücken in southern Germany where revision is held and broadcast live. We will be interviewing people and we will be broadcasting when the rest of the demo party is in an intermission when nothing is happening. So you can enjoy us and you can enjoy revision. You get...extra bonus everything this way. Go to Ericade. Radio and you know tune in in a few weeks from now and before that happens we are going on with Cabbage Drop and Cruise Control Santa.
In today's episode you get a lot of medleys because we have some really cool new and short songs. the first up is something like a remake. I don't know if you remember Gidora's Toilet Story. I think it's a reference to Toy Story really. But today we're broadcasting a well C512W's version. Dennis Vibi with Wawawawa. And it's beyond really popular right now withForgetful.
Going back to the old episodes of flashback can be a bit funny. I talked so much about covid because it was a thing. Does anyone really remember that one? I kinda want to forget about it. But it's 2026 now and it's all about AI, artificial stupidity or something like that. I don't know. What do you think about AI? I'm kind of worried about it. It seems to have a lot of properties ofbeing really stupid, but my brother told me something. He told me that he is, well, manager of a team of developers and he seemed to have started using Claude, if you know that one, instead of hiring junior programmers. It seems to be, it can do pretty much the same thing. Scary, yes, but also a bit promising because that may be where the future lies. I don't know about you, but it could be good, it could be bad.going on with Alex Smith and temporal disruption.
We are loading up with lots of medleys today. This is the third one. And as you know, we play a lot of the music that's from 2026, brand new and created by a lot of artists that are popular right now. They're releasing a lot of new material and that's all for the better. We are starting up with yes, again, Beyond and Echo. And then yeah, either audio has come out.
The week of hard work is over, finally. And we have a lot of nice features on RK.RADIO. I'm not gonna mention them again, you know it. But I'm gonna tell you that this has meant that the retro gaming thing, well it's not going anymore. But it's coming back next week. I hope to have a really cool game that has been kinda not forgotten, but it's kinda people don't understand how monumentally important that game was. Yeah, that's next week. It's a retro game of course, so it's gonna be something else than I don't know, Counter-Strike? Nothing like that. This harkens back to the early 90s, but you see what it is. We are going on with Gunny and you came!
Yeah, that seems vaguely familiar. I hope the copyright gods do not descend upon us. So the webpage is one thing, but YouTube, that's another thing. And that is where we have the stream and the podcast as well. You can go to YouTube and search for Ericade Radio, or you can go to Twitch that also have the live stream and search for the Ericade Radio Network. Going on with Beyond, yes, Beyond again.very popular right now with soft music.
What do you think about the demo scene top lists? The ones we used to make back in the day from all the big nice demo parties. Should we do that again? Should we do it more, less, whatever? Tell us at radio at rk.net or sound off in the comments. We appreciate all kinds of comments, even the ones that are like, suck man. Or something like that. Anyway, we are going on with Lamar.is a Finnish artist, it's called Rescue Me, that's the song.
All good stuff must come to an end and it's time for us to say goodbye until next week. This is DJ Demon leaving over the reins to the next podcast or if you're on the station to the next episode or whatever, what have you. Going on with last two songs leading you into that good night. It's The Moton and Walk on Walls. And then it's finally FNX and Time Warp. Thanks for listening.
If you feel that you want to talk back, remember that we are on Discord. Go to Erekade.radio slash Discord to join us in the discussions. In a week from now, another episode. Thanks for listening to Flashback Tracks from the past.
