🎤 Production Notes
The third episode with only Amiga tunes.About the squirrel girl on the cover:For anyone not seeing the retroconnection, Eric W. Schwarz did most of those characters on his Amiga. And the short films he made used Moviesetter. All us nerds were amazed that they could be made on an Amiga. It was during the waning years of that platform and we were happy to be able to prove the Amiga still "had it". Amy the squirel was as close of an unofficial "mascot" the Amiga had. But he made many more characters like talking airplanes, angry lemmings and even..,. Saddam Hussein.Colophon:It's a take on adult entertainment site "OnlyFans". But I got it wrong. Due to stressing out a bit during post production, I erroneously switched the title from "OnlyAmiga" to "AmigaOnly". So that's the name of the episode now.

For the third time ever, let's do an Amiga only show. Yeah, that's when we only play Amiga tunes and not the newer ones. So enjoy one hour of great track music. We're starting up with porno productions and falling in.
Medley's you say? Absolutely, we got We are going on with a DSX and a Nike, then it's WOTW of Gothic with intro number 33, then it's Dalmat and Gloria and the final song in the medley that would be DNA, game one, intro tune one.
Tracks from the past with your host DJErik Zalitis
So what's up with the talk show that you were promised? You know the flashback episode where me, Kurios and the Baron of Dubstep talk about retro stuff. Don't worry, it's coming along just fine. We have had a little bit of a situation where we had to postpone it a few days, but it's coming out in one week from now. So while you are waiting for that, enjoy the Amiga only episode of flashback. Only Amiga stuff and next up is a song calledDoctor Facts Scriptmaster by U4
Maybe you're wondering about that squirrel girl on the cover art of this episode. That would be Amy the Squirrel, a creation by talented artist Eric W. Schwartz. She was created during the 90s and he has done a number of great characters and art and airplanes that are firing on sedum and stuff like that. Really funny stuff. That is actually made on an Amiga. That's why I have added it to the podcast cover art. It's really a showcase of what the Amiga could do back in the 90s. We were very amazed by all the airplanes, the lemmings and all the other stuff he made. Well, time for the next music, the next song that is. It's Protos and At The Sunrise.
You're listening to Flashback, tracks from the past and we are broadcasting to your podcast player from Sälen in northern Sweden. Yes, I'm at my family's winter residence here. We haven't seen any bears, but we have seen a lot of skiers, people drinking beer and generally it's a very nice wintery landscape out here. So that's great. Enjoy the music. We are going on with a dough and Indian age.
said it before but I keep repeating myself this is an Amiga only show this specific episode so this time no impulse tracker scream tracker or fast tracker tunes just the protracker noise tracker what have you tracker dot mod format that's the whole thing four channels and that's the whole thing basically you for IA again and this time is astronauts requiemErik Zalitis
really weird ending of that song. But it was seven minutes and then some. So it's a very long Amiga tune. Really nice one at it. What's happening in 2026 then you might ask. At least when we're talking about this podcast. And the answer is I hope to get some kind of cool artist interviews again or at least an artist episode and then some demo scene episodes.live coverage and stuff so stay tuned it's gonna be be really nice we are going on with yeah it's him again it's our pegiator of emphobia far from earth and yes it sounds a little bit like that my wolf 2
It's time for the second medley of today. You know, short tunes mixed together because they sound great in a sequence that never ends, or at least it doesn't end until I start speaking again. First out is Dune and Fat Mystic, then is Ascender and Overscan, and the final one is an unknown artist with Axe Cold.
If you didn't know, we have a Discord forum where you can sound off and tell us what you like to show and chat with us. Go to erikade.radio slash discord and join us. It's fun, super fun. Going on with Dr. Vector and Otterah.
Have heard about PreTracker? It's a pretty recent development on the Amiga, a new format that sounds very chip tunish as compared to normal Amiga mod files. We have something called Cheesy Listening on the station that was released by Virgil a few years ago. It's really worth listening to, so search for it and request the songs just to hear how good Amiga can sound with modern formats.going on with Gladiator and Solution.
that were folded in 1994 and that's like I don't know 30-45 years ago I don't keep count on this anymore and now this year 2025 no one else than Perifractic famous youtuber brought the brand back from the dead by buying the whole brand and whatever assets it's come comes withSo what's going on there? Well, he is kind of releasing a new series of C64s. Commodore.net. What do you think about it? Cool, right? I think it is, but I don't really hold much hope for it to really last. And anyway, we are going on with Citrix and the demo disco party.
This is Flashback Tracks from the past with your host DJ Demon. And if you want to listen to the station during the wintery days that are right now, go to erikade.radio. You can star songs, can request songs, you can read up on the artists and you can listen to our two stations. Enjoy! We are going on with Hoffman and calm to be the storm.
It's been fun, thank you for listening for one hour of flashback tracks from the past with me DJ Demon. But we have to close shop and the last two songs leading you into that good night that would be Exceed of Scope and Galaxy and final song will be Sea Quence of Impact with In Orbit. See you in a week.
Remember, ericae.radio, that's where you wanna go.
