🎤 Production Notes

For this episode, I made something a bit different: I added a song made by an AI. The first song of today is from a YouTube-channel called "It's definitely not stonkers". It was a remix of the old game "Bobble bobble" and was created on an AI. Later I saw that it had surpassed my YouTube channel when it came to number of viewers. Who said life is fair?I asked viewers and people what they thought of it and it the general response was enormously negative.Best comment about AI writing songs:"@DJDaemon The Bubbly podcast episode has an AI song included. While it's good for inspiration, they all suffer from what Baron of Dubstep calls Math Rock - a synopsis where the "algorithms" just put as much variety and mix everything into a soup that has no sense or rhythm nor has it repeating patterns or recognizable chorus segments. The song may mimic the original, but the "overlay added layer of let's see how much craporama techniques can be packed over the course of the song" is extremely discerning. And I agree, that Bubble Bobble "remix" is exactly an example of this."

Time for flashback! Tracks from the past! With your host, DJ Daemon. So we are back again, absolutely, and we welcome you to one hour of the greatest track music you can enjoy. Absolutely. If you are a tracked music artist and you laugh at AI, maybe it's time to start worrying.

Erik Zalitis 02:29.998

Right, this one you should know. It's of course the title music from the game Bubble Bubble that came out in 1987. I played it on my Commodore 64 back in the day. Fantastic game, really funny. So why should you be worried if you are a tracked artist? Well, I don't know, maybe not, but I did not know that AI could do stuff like this. This remix was released yesterday on a site on YouTube called It's Definitely Not Stonkers. And it's made by an AI. Absolutely bonkers if you ask me. But they are that good now. We are going on with the first medley of today. And that would be TC and Wooah. And then it's double up with C512W. The first one is called Bob LeSinter remix. And in the next one, a new one. Actually a new release. This one is for Serar.

Erik Zalitis 07:59.374

Another nice medley, courtesy of Ericade.Radio and Flashback, tracks from the past. You're welcome. Let's talk about the demo scene. We are really trying to cover all the great demo parties and it's been a little bit so-so lately. So we are going to get back into the saddle and cover the track to music competitions. It's going to take a while because it's kind of like, you know, slim pickings. have scanned the demo parties and it's like, well, one or two entries per party. It's hard to make a show from that. So you have to wait a little bit, but we are coming back with demo party coverage. I promise. Going on with the Lunari and Desolate Sun.

Erik Zalitis 14:11.022

We play a lot of old stuff on this station. Track music that is, from the 80s, 90s, 20 hundreds and 20 tens most of the time. But here is something special. A new artist on ModArchive, his name is Retrich and he came out with his stuff in 2025. Here is Carnol Mayhem R2 and he writes in the comment that his inspiration was from California Love by Tupac.and Roger T. Yeah, this is gonna be good.

Erik Zalitis 17:38.638

It's remix time here on Flashback. Next up is Tuna and Point of Departure. And if you cannot recognize that title, it's because it was originally written by Necros a few years ago. So now we have both remix and original. Here it comes.

Erik Zalitis 23:04.974

Soft tracks here on Ericade. Radio and flashback tracks from the past. We are going with some more upbeat tempo in a while, but first I need to tell you that Ericade. Radio has been updated. The history of the station is now something you can read from the beginning to yeah, well what's happening right now. Go there and read up on the history. We talk about Poga data. We talk about Edison. We talk about revision.2026 on that site. So there's always that. Okay, the upbeat song you wanted. That would be Cleeder and the Trulery dance mix.

Erik Zalitis 25:47.566

me some chiptunes. That was awesome. And it's time for our second and last medley of today. That would cover Veraxor and Senka. Ether Audio with The Search of Ether and C512W. White Chlo...

Erik Zalitis 33:51.852

Next up is Platonist and he's a Swedish artist. He recently entered this station with a number of songs. You probably heard them if you're following this podcast. His real name is Jonas Loman and he's also known as Lunari. Absolutely great music and it's judgment day.

Erik Zalitis 39:22.094

Time for another new artist. Well, she's not new on the scene per se, but she's new on the station. She entered it with her first songs, so to speak, a few weeks ago on this podcast. That would be Nicole, an American trans woman artist that has released a number of really nice tunes. And we are going on with her song. It's Orange Rustler Reverie.

Erik Zalitis 44:16.206

We are going on with another artist you probably heard a number of times on this podcast recently. That would be Archangel. And from his own description on the mod archive, he writes. I have been around a few years, actually since the 90s. In 1993 I changed my nickname from Cyrax to Archangel. And this was inspired by a military unit from the game Master of Magic. My prime time in the scene was in late 90s and early noughties. Nowadays I mostly fiddle around with some ideas that tend to never be completed into finished tracks. But this one he has completed very well and it's called Siren's Song.

Erik Zalitis 49:17.934

This is Flashback, tracks from the past, and I'm DJ Demon, as per usual. If you like what we're doing, the station, the podcast, whatever, please spread the word, not the disc. Tell everybody about EriKade.radio and where to find it. That would be on the internet, by the way. We are going on with 240, 185, and let me feel.

Erik Zalitis 53:27.594

It's been a blast, but we have to say goodbye for this time. Flashback will be back in a few weeks from now, and while you're waiting for that you can go to RK.RADIO. But you know this. This is Didier Diemon thanking you for listening and leading you into that good night. It be Archangel again and Stellactus. And then final song of this whole hour that would be Nicole and Perception Illusion.

Erik Zalitis 57:33.102

It's time for you to tune in to Ericade. Radio on the internet. Remember we are on Discord and we would very much want to have you with us. Go to Ericade. Radio slash Discord to join. Last song as I said that would be Nicole and Perception Illusion. In a few weeks from now we'll back.
