AboutSvenska Commodoreklubben (SCK) held a great retro-event in Täby in northern Stockholm in Sweden between the 26 - 28th of August 2022. It held a fantastic museum, a repair shop, a quiz held by Frida Katarina, the online meeting "Sen kväll med Commodoreklubben" and ericade.radio did a live broadcast.Huge thanks to Hravnkel, Björn A, Bjonte, PataG, Hedgewizard, Per G, Frida Katarina and all the other people making the retro-scene the place to be!We did a live broadcast during the most of the Friday, but had to cut it short on Saturday due health-issues on my part. But still, we got a lot of stuff to talk about. And the music is a fresh addition to the station and mostly very soft and mellow as it feels right. Enjoy! The link: commodore.se/about-us/ (Mostly in Swedish)ErrataI said that the Amiga 500 came out in 1997. I misspoke. It was in 1987. My bad.

Colophon:Swedish event, so the title references Povel Ramel's old song "De sista entuiasterna".Well aware that there a lot of demo people in Sweden. But few so dedicated to the Commodore-retro-scene.

Time for flashback! Tracks from the past! With your host, DJ Daemon. Today it's all about Commodore-träffen 2022. Let's go back two days to our live broadcast. This is the Hurricane Radio Network. We're now going live from a remote location.Yes, hello Sweden hello, Teabee hello, Kvarn, Gordon Kvarn Torp I think was the name of it. We're broadcasting live, here's DJ Daemon and we have Hvrankel here sitting beside me, but he does not have a microphone. We're gonna set up for some really cool stuff today and tomorrow. But while you're waiting, we of course have the music.

Erik Zalitis 04:24.529

Female-tracked music artists, are rare, but this was Clara Chan and Klesmer Kamel. Let's talk about Kommodore Träffen, but I got someone here who can tell much more about it than I can. Welcome, Rankyl, what's up? Hello there! Finally time for a Commodore meeting. It's been... It's truly a pleasure being here. We had to postpone it due to the pandemic and now we're here. And the pandemic is over, guess. Enough to let a few of us meet again, at least. Yeah, I guess so. I mean, we can't stay locked down forever, can we now? No, we really can't. And it's quite funny. It's the first time we actually meet in real life. And I mean, how long have we known each other? For almost like five years ago, through VBSs and stuff. Yeah, exactly. It's this old cabin. Yeah, but...What's happening today? Today it's mostly unpacking and people showing up. The exhibition here at Commodore Treffen is being built up today. And to be fair, it's absolutely stunning. We have most systems from Commodore, up from the PET up to Amiga 1200, I believe, is the newest Commodore system available. So that's really something. Yeah, something to look forward for.Nothing on Sunday, we're packing down then I guess. On Sundays mostly packing down, but that depends on when you count Sunday to start. It starts at midnight and I suppose there will be definitely some Commodore data going on there. Tell me a little bit about what's happening at 9 o'clock here in Swedish time. Tonight we're going for the... We have a hangout in the Commodore Klubben called Late Night with Commodore Klubben.Moving around, we have been visiting various members during the pandemic and doing a live event through our Discord. Tonight we're broadcasting that from Komnorre Treffen, so there will be a of a social gathering for those who cannot attend and also those who do attend here. Okay, that's great. All right, so...

Erik Zalitis 06:43.342

If you're not Swedish, is there anything to do here? Will we broadcast in Swedish or in English? Basically, the event, you could listen to the Educate Radio, course. Hopefully you're already doing that. But apart from that, it's mostly member activities, but there will be available for those who are members. We will have a Commodore veteran.Talk tomorrow evening at 9 o'clock via Zoom. That will be broadcast from here and with a guest online. And apart from that, there will be lots of happenings on our Discord channel, of course. But mostly this is a physical social gathering. Great. OK, Clamador.rc if you want to watch it. On with the music. Thank you, Rankyl. And afternoon gruing coming up. Nope. We're doing something else.

Erik Zalitis 11:27.47

Org of TB, waiting for summer. Summer is over, and so is Svenska Commodore Klubbens event called Commodore Träffen. It was two days ago, and it started on a nice Friday. I went there and we started broadcasting live. You heard the intro and the interview there. We played a lot of great music from the station. It was very, very appreciated by people there. The first day it was mostly setting stuff up and making sure everything was working. It's a great way of seeing weird Commodore stuff, like SX64's and all the kind of different versions that you may not never have seen before. It's a real museum and it was kind of like a meeting, not a demo party, but it still had some demo party-ish things.

Erik Zalitis 16:34.392

Sadiant Pepper Arc 360 multimedia featuring Malmen and Saisi, Over the Horizon 2017.on the friday at 9 pm swedish time central european time that is when we had a live broadcast not just our broadcast but actually svenska kommodore klubben had something called late night with svenska kommodore klubben and yeah it was in swedish i was interviewed there yeah seriously and they also had a view and tour a very nice one of the museum and the repair shop that they set upAnd we had Björn, Rankyl and the other Björn, Björn A, talking about the origins of Commodore and Commodore Klubben. Really nice.

Erik Zalitis 23:06.926

Care Bear of Insane, Far Away Adventure. Yesterday was the main day and quite an adventure when Kommelårigträffen held its main event. It held Joakim Melin from the magazine Dator, magazine Retro. was on location and sold the newspaper and some t-shirts. It comes out with a new issue every year, yes, if there is enough interest.between 1 and 3 PM, the public was invited and we had something called Dataspelsmusik Quiz, which was a quiz from 7 PM from the scene with Frida Katari. Now we spoke about her, she's that petzki artist. And at 9 PM, they had a yearly Commodore speech with Michael Tomaszewicz.

Erik Zalitis 26:55.88

Soody of Absence, I think he is compensating for something when he calls the song Conqueror of Virgins. And today is Sunday, they just shut everything down and went home. Great event, alas the broadcast from Saturday was cut short due to health issues on my part. But we got something out of it and they got a lot of great music really.from Commodore's stuff, but also from Impulse Tracker, Ataris and whatever. I know Rankill doesn't really like the fact there was some Atari songs in the mix, but that's where we are.

Erik Zalitis 30:15.064

Dakota fly in space and that's all we got about SCK or Svenska kommedoreklubben. Alas if you're not natively speaking Swedish, kommedore.se does not have much material for you. It is a Swedish club, but I wanted you to know that they are doing great stuff. We are going on with some more music. This is Flashback, tracks from the past and I'm DJ Demon.

Erik Zalitis 33:44.014

Mrs Beanbag and Holliday. And the question is what's up on the demo front? We just had Jumalauta 22 years Finnish demo party. Pretty silly one, but they liked it that way. We had of course SEK, if Commodore treffen you know that. But what's up in the future? There are a number of small ones, but the ones I'm looking forward to is Deadline 2022 in the end of September and Flash Party 2022 in the beginning of October. So that's great.

Erik Zalitis 36:18.99

Lama! Or Lamer or Lama or whatever. And the song is called WB22-WK21. I have no idea what that is. Some secret code I guess. And I get something for you. Two weeks from now, Ericade Radio, it will be two years old. Yeah, that's right. We've been on since 2020 in the dreadful year of Corona.Okay, so it's 2022 and still a dreadful year in Corona. I'm sorry about that. All word with the music, because that's still fun.

Erik Zalitis 38:55.062

Nighthawk and somewhere in time. We're doing soft and melodious today. And you know something? Fall is here or autumn, whatever you want to call it. I was out walking today and I saw a lot of leaves, yellow leaves coming down from the trees. It's the 28th of August today. It's early, but it's sweet. I love, I love the fall. It's my favorite season.

Erik Zalitis 43:02.606

Laggiotto, Even or Odd, an impulse tracker song. And you should know that our web page, our website is erikade.radio. You can request tunes there if you want to, you can search for them, you can send an email to me or just listen to two radio stations, one rerun of the podcast and one with 24-7 of the greatest tracked music.

Erik Zalitis 46:44.248

Revisk of Anadone. Bombastic! And we get some bombastic news for you. You should know this, but it's 40 years to this month since the Commodore 64 launched in the United States. We talked about it last episode, so I won't repeat that. But if you think about it, it's quite a thing, quite an accomplishment. And 1987 the Amiga 500 came out and one guy told me, look, it's one of those oldest computers that's still viable to use for modern stuff. Yeah.

Erik Zalitis 51:06.03

Tempo and underground people. And here is me, DJ Demon, leading you into that good night... Oh, I'm sorry, I should tell you this. That is actually how I sign off every podcast. And it's also an old Dylan Thomas poem. He died in 1953. And the poem is called Do Not Go Gentle into that Good Night. Here is the first stanza. Do not go gentle into that good night. Old age should burn and rave at the close of the day.Rage, rage against the dying of the light. He wrote it to his father who was dying at the time. But it's a beautiful poem and, well, leading you into that good night is Trixie of vectors and waves. And final song for today is Janis Brown, Kinetically Fungified Sheep.

Erik Zalitis 54:58.414

The Ericade Radio Network. Commodore is limited, but the Amiga is eternal.
