It is on Demo Party and the last week and we got stuff to play for you. Didy Demon here coming out of the jungle with 14 tracks freshly caught in Stockholm, Sweden. Among the participants is one person I never expected to hear a new tune from. A true legend.
From the Edison streaming competition, Proper Disco, good enough! Let's get it rolling! The first tune of this list gets place 15 and 70 points. Dark Light has a method he's proud of.It's called Furtisec without listening. And that's how he made the song. That's what it's called. And that's how it sounds.
Here is some truth in advertisement. Place 14 is a tune called Unimpressive 2 channel piece of crap and it's by Moonlight. 86 points.
Third false tracker tune in the list. This is place 13 and sad song by Trampet, Trespass. It gently weeps for not making the top 10 part of the list. 98 points.
Place 12. And if you want simple and effective old style Nintendo-ish music, good news, welcome to the bungle by Wilkins of 5 Finger Punch, he delivers 133 points as well.
She tells a cute story that sets the record straight with Atari users. Hyper unknown of noise, Mix's bedroom storytelling with soft techno. A musing tune that hits place 11 at 145 points. Long ago, caught between the waves of the endless sea and the great bay, there was a tall rock masquerading as an island. The top of this tall rock was a very tall tower. In the tower, there was a little goat trying to sleep.
The room was full of Amiga, Commodore 64 and Atari Sena's. It was a white little lie though. There were no people there using Atari's of course.
In the tower, on top of the world, they had a great little scene party with loud music, so the little goat couldn't sleep.
The little goat, who was an Atari Sena and therefore had to go to sleep early, had the main switch in his room. All of a sudden, the Great Hall went pitch black and silent, and complete chaos broke out. Finally, he thought to himself, sleep well, little goat. That's what they call you see. If you heard the promotions for Edison demo party on the station, you heard Jor-El's voice. Now time to hear his music. The tune is called Growing Up and gets 152 points.
We all need to remember how tunes used to sound in the mid 90s. Wasp or Pacific and Powerline provides a great example. Brand new, but sounding the part. It's Pegassi 51 with 153 points.
Bass plays! Basch would not have approved of what's been done to his tunes, but I do. Think Amiga 4 channels. It's techno meeting classic music and hilarity ensues. Amiga jungleist of Upperaath gets 156 points and the song is called Back to Basics.
The 90s reign supreme in the next tune. Vocals, techno and samplings. 156 points to KRDN of Defiance. And get down, behave!
Another voice heard on this station. It's one of the Orgas, F-FREAK with concrete skeletons. 164 points to a tune with nice chorus and soft techno. It's a shared place vibe, no error here.
5th place. General Attack from Clint of FCK. It sounds like an old Texas Instrument home computer tune. It's weird and oddly attractive. It's a ship tune with a ghostly feeling to it. 165 points and also plays fine.
Let's go with a heavenly ship tune called Monkey Love. It's from Grogo of FCK. 177 points and it sounds like the 80s just came on a shorter visit.
Third place, bronze medal. More ship tunes, this is Moscow Funny Games. It's by Vandelay, and it could've fit in a computer game. The file name is Moscowfu.it, which means it's an impulse tracker tune. 185 points, and it puts a big smile on my face.
Shipdune party folks! Yeah, we just can't get enough of them seems. Vettelrovin's scene pokes fun at the revision demo party I guess. The tune is called Revisioned and Confused. 218 points.
place. The gold. The winner.
The next tune starts by imitating the intro to the movie 1984 and then reaches peak Amiga tracker tune and does our tracker history true justice. A well deserved victory for Fairlight's own Danko and also for legendary musician Jogair Liljedal. Awesome end of the party, 219 points.Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
That was a tracked combo, but we got time to give you the free medal positions from the streaming competition in this hour as well. Kordian is here again, and this time it's the Minds of Cirrocon. 204 points in a brand new combo.
What is it with the demo scene and GOATS? Hyper Unknown of Noise gets 205 points for his tune Happy Summer Goat.
place. The gold. The winner.
Give it up for Danko of Fairlight. He hits the jackpot with Spielplatz at 223 points.
And that's all we have time for today. Here is me, DJ Demon, signing off, packing up my stuff, going home. Thank you for listening, and leading you into that good night. It's Aceman and Wonka Honk.
