- 11:17 Teo and Virgil – The drunken sampler
- 14:55 DJ Daemon: The next tune is on place 4 and is a parody of an old demo. It’s Swedish Kefka of Insane and the song is called Data/Grill. - 18:36 Hyperunknown / Noice – Goats and snoblins
- 22:06 DJ Daemon: Silver position for Ma2E of Desire. Not bad! The tune is called Thrill 4 noise. Another fine tune that would have fit well into a platformer from the early 90s. 133 points.

- 25:09 DJ Daemon: I first heard of the combo Mygg and Bonefish, when they won with Brofists in Revision 2021. They’re now hitting the first place a year later with “404 crew returns”. Really? Tried to surf to them, but got a page not found error. 162 points and I’ll see myself out now…

🎤 Production Notes
A demo episode that I got almost no warning about. I actually missed it, but sprung to action and contacted the orgas that helped me sourcing almost all music. Two tunes could not be fixed. Other than that the two toplists and the extra .exe-modules make sure you get a great experience of what Gerp could was.Colophon:The title alludes to the book "The world according to Gerp" by John Irving, that I read as young boy.

Last weekend, the Gerp 2022 ran in Skövde in Sweden. So we are now back in the demo scene season. I almost missed this one as I thought it had been cancelled. But here we are, another demo scene top list. First off, the Amiga 4 channel music.eight contestants and position eight goes to a morbid of a five finger punish. The song is called zero one two three and gets 28 points.
No, it's not the Shiptune compo yet. But it almost sounds like that. Nice gamey music. Next up is Place 7 and its optic of planet jazz with lead shoes. Racking up 50 points. It sounds loungy and jazzy. Me likey.
place 6 it starts up with sci-fi computer blibbidibbidbop and then goes ambient with pretty standard rhythms. It's by Amiga Junglism, Extra Spicy Mikey, Antease and Spot and they all come from up rough. The song is called First Fracture and nabs 50 points.
Getting warmer! We are at place 5 and Teo and Virgil gives you the Drunken Sampler. It's a very classic Amiga themed song and could have fit well in a fast paced platform action game. I would have loved it in Robocop. It gets 56 points and the comments note that it was made for the Mega Drive music disc by Titan.
The next tune is on place 4 and starts in Swedish. It's Swedish kefke of insane and the song is called Data Slash Grill. If you wonder why it sounds like it was composed by a cat strolling on the keyboard, it's most likely because it was. Yeah, the cat's name is Jesse. 102 points for a clever feline.
It's Bronze Time people! Hyper Unknown of Noise has created a song called Goats and Snoblins. That sounds like name of a very hard game for the C64. He gets on the high score list with 109 points and third place.
Silver position for a maze of desire. Yes, not bad. The tune is called Frill 2 Noise, another fine tune that would have fit well in a platformer from the early 90s. Second place and 133 points.
They first heard of the combo Mug and Bonefish when they won with Brofists in revision 2021. They're now hitting first place a year later with 404Q returns. Really? I tried to surf to them but got a page not found error. 162 points and I'll see myself out now.
And that ladies and gentlemen, was the 4 channel Amiga competition from GURP. We are going on with a chiptune compo, not only by Amigas by the way, even C64s and other things can be heard. So 7 contestants and number 7 is Slash of Tech and Skövde Filler.
That by the way got 54 points. Next up you get 2 for 1, or if it's 1 for 2 or whatever. It's place 6 with Hyper Unknown of Noise. It's Goat Hub and the song that comes after is Modem Family. I don't know what is it with Hyper Unknown and goats seem to be a recurring theme. Well this combo gets 57 points.
And we are switching over to Modem Family. Seems to be the worst TV series ever. I don't think Netflix would pick it up with a poll. But it's a good song.
5th place is Radiant, I break for no beat, 107 points. And 4th place, Clegg and Fegelhas, with Fairlight, 126 points. Ok, there, done. Yeah, I can't play them because there's some technical problem with them. Sorry. We go to, well, not 3rd place. You would think so, but actually this top list is insane. It's the 2nd place and the first entry. It's a tie you know. It's a wedder and a mug of insane and bitflipping therapy.
Ok, I think we sorted out that mess. So second place, second place so to speak. That is the second place of the second place. Ok, you getting it? Great. Yeah, what would that be? That would be Maze of Desire with Overjoyed by Grow. Also 127 points.
Second time today we got a gold, we got a winner! It's the ship competition and the artist is Alpa of Innesain. And the song? It's called Got Gurpis! Hooray! Wait, did you make me say that? my god that's amazing! That's the coolest thing ever! I gotta admit, that was funny.
And that's the end of the top list. But for the rest of the hour, we have some of the music from the Amiga executable music. That's EXE files with great music, often pre-tracker and showcasing some new technology that's called Amiga Klang by Virgil. Yes, next up is Clumpy of Bach with Brunhilde.
What is this new Amiga Klang that we talking about? Invented by Virgil. According to Generation Amiga, Amiga Klang version 1.0 is a modular sample synthesizer for Commodore Amiga platforms. You can create executable music with small memory footprint and is specifically developed for the Amiga demo scene. We got about 10 minutes to go and we are going on with Alpa of Insane as we have waited.
We are running out of time and this is me DJ Demon leading you into that good night with Kut Kulok, Inspiracer and final song of today will be Maze of DSR with Kitty's Market Stroll. If you want to listen to this podcast or the station, go to Ericade. Radio. Ericade. Radio.
