🎤 Production Notes

Colophon:The title alludes to the game "Oh no! More Lemmings!". My intro speech ends with "Let's go", also from Lemmings. The hack was simply me having not stopped the request system from running during live shows... This made me laugh. And I left it in when I created the podcast.

In November 2021, I gave you a top list of tunes requested by our listeners. And the most prolific contributor, was Kurios from Norway. And now he's back with an even larger batch of requests. Songs never played here before, and all of them suggested by him. Let's go!

Erik Zalitis 04:18.51

Tantan on the Moon. The original was by Jaron Tull. This remix is by Fio. I got something really cool coming up here and now. It's by LHS. It's a four part medley where the last one is by another artist called Mac Tone. But the three first parts it's something called Reloaded Installer 1, 2 andIt's from those Keygens that you used to have when you downloaded a pirated game or some software and the Keygen generated a license that you could use and it also played songs. yeah, those are great.

Erik Zalitis 10:49.032

part was Mac Tone and Klaus XI Time Flies. Look I don't condone piracy copying but the keygen music I always loved that and yeah of course I piracy copied the stuff anyway so I am really not without sin here. At any rate we are going on with Firefox and Tip of Phenomenaand Musiklinjen, hyper based from the Enigma demo. Yeah, I know, we played it half a year ago on the podcast episode that was called a top list of our own. But Kourios is back. He didn't want that version. He want original. And yeah, I agree. Here it is.

Erik Zalitis 17:06.004

been rectified. Great! Now this original version and the remix, they are both on the station. And if you want to send a request to me, just email me at radio at erikade dot net and tell me what song you want me to have on the station, ok? Great! But you can do this automatically as well. If you just go to erikade dot radio slash song. Erikade dot radio slash song.and then you can search for a song that's in the library and it will play automatically on the station within an hour. Okay, onwards, it is time for a Rachno of Colfet and down the rabbit hole.

Erik Zalitis 19:48.078

We don't play remixes very often on this station, but we do sometimes. If you want remixes 24-7, try Slay Radio, they're awesome. But this is Flashback, tracks from the past. I'm DJ Daemon. Next up is a remix, a true blue remix by Cyborg Jeff. It's called Email to Elise, Valentine's Skull Edit.and you can buy it from Bandcamp and I have actually so this is actually downloaded in high quality flack directly from the author himself. Do enjoy it's really awesome source.

Erik Zalitis 24:58.584

Back to that other top list episode I spoke about earlier. It was Kurius back then as well and he wanted to hear Jason Page and a song called First. But it was impossible to find it. I googled for it and googled... If you google something that says First, it's not gonna work very well for you. But actually, Mr. Kurius himself found it for me. Jason Page calls himself No Other Medicine nowadays. And here is the song.Yeah, it's ShipTune goodness. yes, really nice.

Erik Zalitis 32:04.238

Ship tunes used to be seen like inferior to the SID tunes that they were trying to emulate, or something like that. Today that's not the case, ship tunes are highly respected, and I love them. Onwards with modern, tracked music, it's Kronberg, and the song is called Fux Cluster and the Hunt for Dr. Evil. Yeah, you probably know exactly what that's all about, right?Okay, I bought that one as well from Bandcamp and I will give you the links in the description if you want to patronize their awesome work. This is Erik Ead. Radio and flashback tracks from the past.

Erik Zalitis 36:23.01

You know what I really really want? No, DJ Demon, what do you really really want? Yeah, I want an A500 mini. They're out now, haven't tried it, seen a number of videos and it's hardware, it's one of these smaller versions of something real. It looks like an Amiga 500, but it's much smaller and the keyboard doesn't work.but it's modern hardware emulation in there so you can play all your Amiga games, connect them to a modern HDMI, you even get a mouse that looks like a real Amiga mouse, you know, the Tank mouse. It seems really cool, both 8-bit guy and Perifractive have reviewed them and they seem to be nice. Next up is game music and I hope that the gods of Obamaware forgive me for...playing this. It's Jester from the game Solaris.

Erik Zalitis 40:43.746

is a tune requested by one of our internet users.

Erik Zalitis 44:36.974

This top list was compiled by Coreus and he runs a site called Retro.gg or the Retro Spirit. It's shockful with a lot of old games. So it should come as no surprise that the next suggestion is Format and Chapter 2 from SpongeBob SquarePants. I believe that game is retro by today's standard. yes, it's coming here.

Erik Zalitis 46:46.344

If you like Format and his music, you should know that we have a lot of his tunes on the station, know, Ericade.Radio. His real name is Matthew Simmons. So, time for the second and last medley of today. It's four tunes in a row, and they're all super nice. First is Anonymous with White Silhouette, which is a parody of another tune. I talk about it in a while. Then it's Eagle and Mr. Fanfan, Sekio and Relax8 and last up is Arachno of Sidbillies, Sasha's Teddy.

Erik Zalitis 53:45.728

I have to go out with a shout out to no one else than Evil S that gamed the systems. Love your hacker mentality, you actually requested a song during a program that should not work, but it did. Thank you, my hat goes off to you. And back to the show now. As I said the first song in this medley, it was anonymous with white silhouette and is a parody of a song called White Shadow by K. Styles. We are going on with AlphaZ and Bright Star. This is Flashback, tracks from the past. And we are just mere weeks away from revision, the demo party. Here in Stockholm they have something called Satellites. It's something that Mondasklubben is handling. A satellite is simply a place where you can meet and watch the whole event on some big screen.Me, myself, I will probably stay at home, because I need to prepare the podcast that will play all the great songs from Revision.

Erik Zalitis 57:52.994

We must not forget about the ModArchive comments, because they're fun. Next up is Pipmalt and Jackim. Together they give you Capsaicin Blues. And Led Sargus, he wrote in 2010, rating it 10 out of 10. my god, this is so good. Beautiful and full of light. Felt the tears almost coming through. It's a happy song. A must download. And Arne Puschelski. Also 20-10, rating it 9 out of 10. Very good track. I like the melody. Very good instrument. And nice composing. Worth a download. Very good track.

Erik Zalitis 01:01:19.48

And this my friend is the end of this podcast. Next week we will be back. Count on it. This is EriKage.radio and the podcast is known as Flashback, tracks from the past. I am DJ Demon and leading you into that good night. It's MacTone again. This one is called Wheel of Fortune.
