We are still in a holding pattern, waiting for the next great demo party, Revision. But let's forget about that for an hour and just cut loose on the dance floor. It's disco night and we are in a funky mood. The tracked music artists take us back to the time of disco, bell-bottom jeans and the age of funk.yeah!

Erik Zalitis 04:04.718

Reed Richards, Funkisider. You know how this works? We're jumping right into Modarchive and the comments. In 2007 Pip Malt wrote, while rating it 8 out of 10, great disco tune, good trumpet, good piano, and once the guitar goes into the background, it's good. And Gargoyle, a part of the comment at least, 2002, rating it 10 out of 10.Such a great song and still not reviewed. It's a shame. This song got everything you need to grow in your car. And it's very danceable too. And talking about dance music. Let's go to a more modern style of it. It's Alistair of Cybertech with your smiling face.

Erik Zalitis 09:59.19

What are you thinking about when you're thinking about the 70s? Is it those bell-bottoms I spoke about? Is it a war? Is it United States vs Soviet Union? Energy crisis? Well, or maybe... Porn, yeah. Next up is 70s porn from Moog. Comments? Yeah. Some unknown...person and probably for the bearer wrote in 9 rating it 10 out of 10. 70's Porn is a legendary XM, that's a fast tracker module for lots of people. It's awesome because it's hilarious and it's incredibly tracked and sounds awesome for a 6 channel. Ever wondered what that porn disco everyone speaks about sounds like? This is the mod that will answer that question. Now, in fact, I do not wonder what it sounds like. Here it is.

Erik Zalitis 13:25.016

70s porn is what you used to watch and then told everyone you were watching it just for the crosswords. Wait, that did not come out right. Anyway, time for a set of tunes. It's four great but short disco tunes. Starting up with Do and La Disco de Ja Claude, George Foggetown, some artist with Dave Goes Dancing and finally Jumaro Kasugo. Mr Q &A.

Erik Zalitis 20:14.41

Next up is Dick Tracer. And yeah, I'm not making stuff up here. It sounds very 70s, like some kind of movie name. I'm not saying anything, so. It's a song called Kungens man, the King's man. I'm back with a new module. Yes, it's the old Swedish song called Kungens man, in disco beat version. And an unknown person in 99 rating it 5 out of 10, he writes. This song is a disco remix of a Swedish song called En kungens man. And yes, it does have some similarities, but the original is much better. The song has a cool intro, though not technically advanced. Some nice stolen samples. But it all fits in place.

Erik Zalitis 23:09.39

Four channels, Amiga, Module, that's all you need to know for the next one. It's Kreonix and the killer's return.

Erik Zalitis 27:11.778

You're listening to Flashback, tracks from the past. I'm DJ Demon and we are going on with Led Sargus with Disco Reindeer. Now that is a weird one, it seems like it's all over the place at the same time and it calls itself Disco. Well, I'm gonna let you decide what's what with that.

Erik Zalitis 31:09.678

I wanna rename this song, it should be called Rudolph the Disco Reindeer. I don't know why, but hey. Next up is Rebirth of the Lammer. It's Lipra and Marvin. Variety wrote in 2020, rating the song 9 out of 10. What a small, interesting upbeat tune. The song feels like a love letter to old Amiga tunes because of the main leads and some of the samples it uses. Morvin did a great job with that piano jam and the sickening bass while Lepre enthralled me with lead melodies.

Erik Zalitis 34:46.542

Swedish artist Per Almered. He was part of Excellence in Art in 1995 when he composed this song, the next one, Zero Free B. Genda wrote in 2017, rating the song 7 out of 10. Very good music. Congratulations to the composer. The sounds, the rhythm, the tone reminds me of a lot of movies of the 80s.

Erik Zalitis 37:03.054

Some real greatness there. We are going on with Reed Richards. Two tunes. The first one is called 118 in 64 and 194. I have no idea as to why. It's said Reed of TRSI 2001 and Saga Music, he reviews it giving it 10 out of 10.and a comment is from Julian Andres in 2009, also 10 out of 10. This is a great production, very creative, plus 10 greetings.

Erik Zalitis 40:52.142

The second one is Kings of Awoke. Comments by Pip Malt from 27, rating it 8 out of 10. This is pretty good. Great sound for a small file. If it's not high quality, it's not Reed. This song has a similar feel to Dunsher Musica, which is also by Reed. Overall a nice funk disco dance song. Saga Music in 27, rating it 10 out of 10.Whee! This is great! Nice funk tune and this is only 64k. When listening to this tune at Nectarine I had no clue that this was such a small file. A fast tracker file.

Erik Zalitis 44:32.558

Let's go back to little bit more 70s feeling. Oh yeah, it's scabby and dancing samba. But before we roll it, let me just point out that our webpage, erikade.radio, is finally totally complete. The request feature 100 % working, all the stars, all the information, everything. So go to erikade.radio to hear the latest and listen to the stations.

Erik Zalitis 48:35.246

12 and a half minutes until the show is over for the day. Give and take, son. We are going on with the last set of today. It's free times rubric. Starting up with academic. Scarafagio comes down and then Tescam. He likes his dotted initialisms or if it's abbreviations. Tescam I remember was aPretty good tape reel manufacturer for all those reel to reel tape machines that no one except me remembers today. Ok, so let's hit it.

Erik Zalitis 53:24.418

I need to correct myself. An initialism is a short form of a word. Like CIA, KGB, USA and USB. It cannot be read out. An acronym can be read out and it's also a short form. Like SCUBA, SCSI or NATO. Yes.I'm DJ Daemon and leading you into that good night that would be the rest of the set rubric. And as I said, next up is Scarafagio and Tesca.

Erik Zalitis 58:03.182

You don't have to stop doing the disco. But you have to go home, because this show is closing. Last round, and then we're leaving. My name is DJ Demon, again, go to Ericade.radio if you want to see more information and listen to all the other podcasts, or our two stations. The Ericade Network with all the best music composed on Pro Tracker, Noise Tracker, Impulse Tracker and Fast Tracker.
